Requirements: • Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree; • Sheet Metal and Mechanical Structures development, preferrable from automotive; • Proficient in CATIA; • Ability to work with Electrical Engineering, mainly wiring harnesses and components positioning; • Fluent in English; • Spanish communication is a plus; • Experience from Volvo software documentation tools, such as Kola is a plus; • Knowledge of buses legal requirements (Passenger Area, Vehicle height) is a plus. Activities: • Working on the development and maintenance for the Body Builder Engineering Instruction for three languages (Portuguese, English and Spanish); • Supporting all External Body Builders on their development for building their bodies on Volvo Chassis (BEV and Diesel). Supporting with Mechanical and Electrical interfaces; • Developing of 3D and 2D drawing using CATIA and securing the correct documentation into Volvo Systems (Kola); • Working on Weight analysis to secure technical and legal weight distribution of the complete vehicles; • Supporting after market with maintenance and quality topics connected to External Body Builders; • Following Volvo Standards during the design process using mainly CATIA as the design tool; • Securing the quality on the documentation of the developed parts; • Working with maintenance, continuous improvement and quality items.
